Playing catch up
Friday, October 14, 2011 at 07:21PM I want to highlight some of my local sewing spots in Portland. These are places I highly recommend to take classes, hang out, buy fabric and notions.

Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 04:09PM Oven mitts, this one was really easy and fun. I can see myself making more of these for gifts.

School House Tunic by Sew Liberated..LOVE this one! Looks great with jeans. This fabric is a lovely violle so it moves well and drapes beautifully, looks fab with jeans and a camisole.

Most recently, have been doing a bit of crocheting. This is a newborn hat, hope to take some pics of a newborn baby soon. Tom helped with this one!

Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 06:33PM I'm seeing a trend lately of me always picking out fabrics with blues and greens. Like this! These are stash and dash bags by Amy Butler, I love her prints and patterns. By the third one I finally figured out how to sew in a zipper. I've taken an applique class and an Aline skirt class. I'll post pics of those soon, I still need to finish heming my skirt.

Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 12:40PM I've thoroughly enjoyed getting back into sewing and am looking forward to the garment sewing classes I have coming up. Here are a couple pics of some recent projects
Heather Bailey's freshpicked pincushion
Beginning quiltmaking class, I still need to add the batting and binding. Thanks to Cam for holding this up!
